Seven Dwarfs Mine Train Dedication and What's Next Around Walt Disney World

The morning's activities last Friday started out with a trip to the Magic Kingdom to see the dedication for the Seven Dwarfs Mine Train!  It was a fun ceremony! The Seven Dwarfs Mine attraction opens officially on May 28!

Next, we got to go to the Around Our World presentation.

First we learned that Disney's Polynesian Resort will be renamed to Disney's Polynesian Village Resort. In addition the lobby will see some changes and Trader Sam's Grog Grotto will be added! This is a fun stop in Disneyland, so I'm sure it will be just as popular at Walt Dismey World.

Next up was information about the new hard ticket event, Harambe Nights. Taking place at Disney's Animal Kingdom, this party will see special performances in the Harambe Thester of an all new show, featuring dancers, and orchestra and choir, celebrity narrator and more. In addition, food and beverage are included, as well as a fun street party.

Disney also announced that the nighttime spectacular Rivers of Light would be making its way to Disney's Animal Kingdom.

Finally, the Festival of the Lion King will return in June!

And Avatarland will debut in 2017!

Downtown Disney will officially be re-branded as Disney Springs in 2015 and will see the opening th The Landing. The other three sections will debut in 2016.

Then it was time to say goodbye.  We hope you enjoyed the coverage of the Seven Dwarfs Mine Train event.  We're so excited to be able to share more with you over the next few weeks!  Make sure to listen to the podcast for more great coverage!
